Susie Prince

Susie has 25 years of experience in international development, with particular interest and expertise in organisational capacity building and leadership development; programme design and management; participatory research, monitoring, evaluation & learning. Currently Head of Programmes for The Human Edge, she has been Project Director for 20+ mentoring and leadership development programmes in a range of contexts, leading collaborative design, implementation, and MEL; training, curriculum development and quality assurance.

Previously she was in other senior management roles for economic and social development consultancies, membership and umbrella organisations, international NGOs and national CSOs. She has an MA in Development Studies and Education, and has worked in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa and South Asia. Susie has led partnerships with foundations and agencies including DFID/FCDO, UNICEF, EC, WFP, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Danida, Sida, Royal Academy of Engineering – in thematic areas including civil society strengthening, NGO leadership development, women’s economic empowerment, environment and conservation, entrepreneurship and innovation, and evaluation/ aid effectiveness.
